Ten seconds. That is less time than it takes a contestant to say “it’s a vibe” and wave at a wall. So we built a machine to do it for you. Hit the button, get a hook, then decide whether it deserves a room reveal or a skip bin.
How The Block Application Generator works
- Hit the button: you get two names, one relationship and one very shaky reason to be cast
- Check the timer: it tells you whether the hook fits in 10 seconds at nervous audition pace
- Rate it out of five: three stars or more puts it in the running for the top 20
- Vote the list up or down: democracy works best when absolutely nothing is at stake
