Five teams are building from scratch on Mount Eliza, on Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula, for The Block 2026: Lisa and Rosco (yellow), Adam and Jolene (red), Rick and Tayla (green), Chantel and Wyatt (blue) and Sev and Courtney (pink). The season premiered Sunday 2 August on Channel Nine and 9Now, and is now well into guest bedroom week.
Living and dining rooms are the spaces buyers walk into first, so they carry more pressure than almost any other reveal. Open-plan flow, statement lighting and whether a team can resist an accent wall will all be on show once the season gets underway.
Reveal: Scores and Winners
The living, dining and alfresco reveal aired Sunday 6 September 2026, and it was Adam and Jolene who finally broke their drought, taking their first room win of the season by a single point. Full recap: The Block 2026, Episode 21: A View, A Mirror, and a Win At Last.
Adam and Jolene (1st) won on the strength of a huge Christian Cole dining table and a talking-point feature mirror the judges argued over live on camera. Lisa and Rosco (2nd) missed out by just one point overall, with judges loving the room bar one easily fixed furniture orientation issue. Courtney and Sev (3rd) split the panel: the best terrace of the week paired with a living room the judges felt had been visually cut in half. Rick and Tayla (4th) impressed with individual pieces, especially the fireplace and colour palette, but were marked down for a room that felt rushed after Rick’s mid-week hospitalisation. Chantel and Wyatt (5th) took home their second consecutive CommBank Better Budgeting Award, but the room itself was panned by all three judges as flat and backwards.
