The red team on The Block 2026 is South Australian couple Adam and Jolene Wagner, described by Channel Nine as “countrysiders” heading into their toughest test yet: swapping the farm for a construction site on Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula.

Who are Adam and Jolene?
The Wagners come from South Australia and, by Nine’s own description, can run a farm without breaking a sweat. The open question going into the season is whether that same grounded, hands-on energy translates to running a Block job site, where deadlines are measured in days rather than seasons.
The pair aren’t shy about how they’ll come across on screen. “We’re not classy, we swear too much, we’re rough diamonds,” Adam says in Nine’s cast introduction, setting expectations early for a team that looks likely to bring some of the season’s straight-talking, no-frills personality.
What to expect
Country teams have a mixed history on The Block: practical skills and a strong work ethic often count for a lot, but adjusting to a tightly packed, high-pressure metro building site is its own challenge. With Mount Eliza’s first-ever water view location and a premium build brief, Adam and Jolene’s farm-honed resourcefulness could be exactly what’s needed, or it could be a steep learning curve early on.
