The blue team on The Block 2026 is Gold Coast couple Chantel and Wyatt, who met at the gym and have been inseparable ever since. Now they’re swapping the weights room for a building site on Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula.
Update (9 July 2026): Nine’s official trailer confirms Chantel and Wyatt as the blue team. See all five teams in our team colours breakdown.
Who are Chantel and Wyatt?
The pair hail from the Gold Coast, Queensland. Wyatt, who goes by “Big Dog”, claims zero building experience, unless bodybuilding counts, and is planning to learn the trade on the go once filming gets underway. It’s a bold approach on a show where a lack of hands-on renovation experience has sunk more than one team’s chances in the past.
What to expect
Teams that arrive with limited building experience tend to lean hard on physical fitness, stamina and a willingness to learn fast, and Chantel and Wyatt look built for exactly that kind of season. Whether enthusiasm and gym-honed work ethic can make up for the trade knowledge other teams bring to Mount Eliza will be one of the storylines to watch early on.
The Block 2026 premieres Sunday 2 August on Channel Nine and 9Now, confirmed in the official trailer released on 9 July. Full team profiles are on our The Block 2026 hub.
Note: names, team colour and the quoted details above are drawn from Nine’s official trailer and cast introduction. Some background details are drawn from secondary reporting and remain unconfirmed until Nine publishes official cast bios closer to the premiere. We’ll update this post when they land.
After guest bedroom week, Chantel and Wyatt kept House Two.
