The Block 2026 Bedrooms

The Block 2026 guest bedroom reveals have now aired. Here’s how all five teams landed, and what it means heading into week two.

Five teams are building from scratch on Mount Eliza, on Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula, for The Block 2026: Lisa and Rosco (yellow), Adam and Jolene (red), Rick and Tayla (green), Chantel and Wyatt (blue) and Sev and Courtney (pink). The season premiered Sunday 2 August on Channel Nine and 9Now.

Bedrooms on The Block are usually where the safest, most saleable choices live, warm neutrals and considered lighting, right up until one team decides a feature wall needs to fight for attention. That held up mostly true this week, with one big exception that ended up setting the benchmark for the whole season.

Reveal: Scores and Winners

Guest bedroom week wrapped Sunday 9 August as the season’s House Decider Challenge: whichever bedroom impressed the judges most won that team first pick of house for the rest of the competition, while last place is stuck with whatever’s left. Sev and Courtney took it out by what host Scott Cam called “a big margin,” with Lisa and Rosco picking up a second cheque for the week’s best budgeting result. Results

Team Result Judges’ Comment
Sev and Courtney Winner, by a big margin “This is the brief that has been hit out of the ballpark.”
Adam and Jolene Safe and luxury “They’ve played a safe but very luxury play.”
Lisa and Rosco Divisive, best budgeter “There’s just a lot of things happening that, for me, do not work at all.”
Chantel and Wyatt Missed the brief “This would be Mount Eliza 35 years ago.”
Rick and Tayla Bottom of the pack “I don’t think these guys are worthy of The Block in what I’m seeing here.”

Nine didn’t read scores out on air this week, so this ranking reflects what was actually said in judging rather than a points tally.

House Chosen

Team House
Lisa and Rosco House Three (moved from House Four)
Adam and Jolene House One
Rick and Tayla House Five

Main Bedroom and Walk-In Robe Week: Scores and Winners

Week three brought the season’s biggest room brief yet, and the ladder scrambled completely. Lisa and Rosco went from an unfinished bathroom and no room at all the week before to their first win of the season with 27 points, on the back of a minimalist, calming main bedroom judges called “almost perfection.” Adam and Jolene and Chantel and Wyatt tied for second on 25 points, Rick and Tayla banked their first fully finished room of the season for 22 points, and Courtney and Sev’s two-week winning streak ended hard: an unfinished room, a widely mocked DIY tiling job and 17 points, though they still picked up the CommBank Better Budgeting Award for the tightest budget management of the week.
