We can look forward to sage now.” It’s a fair dig, given a second thread doing the rounds today claims judge Darren Palmer has quietly walked back his own “white, light, bright” advice mid-season, after months of pushing the exact bland aesthetic Reddit is now roasting.

The one genuinely new story out of the mastheads today came from TV Tonight, where executive producer Julian Cress told David Knox that “half of the stories that are published about The Block are made up.” Cress specifically shot down reports of a Scott Cam and Shaynna Blaze feud and rumours that Marty Fox is angling for the host’s chair, calling both “just ridiculous” and insisting the trio are “great friends.” He did admit the constant clickbait is, in a strange way, flattering: being 22 seasons in and still worth fabricating stories about means people are still watching.
No other outlet had anything freshly dated today worth folding in, the rest of the pack is still chewing over last week’s budget blowout fallout.
