The plant war escalated fast. Fresh off Monday’s blue-tape raid, Wyatt turned up to find his claimed olive trees gone, “repossessed” by Rick under a theory that they’d drifted a metre onto council land and were therefore fair game, “like repo, when they don’t pay their bills.” That night, Sev and Courtney talked Chantel into a full covert op into House One’s rumpus room to spy on the uptown footprint, only for the mission to end with Chantel dropping to the ground and crawling on all fours to avoid being spotted. Wyatt’s own solo recon of House Four’s garage went worse: Jolene came home mid-search, swore at him to get out, and later admitted the encounter had triggered something well beyond a simple trespass, though she declined to say more on camera.
While all that was going on, House Four’s actual rumpus room was quietly falling apart. Foreman Dan walked in to find bare concrete where everyone else already had plywood down, an entire “50 shades of beige” paint job still ahead, and a blunt verdict on the gap left by a team stretched between two builds: “You’re not there, things can slip away very quickly.” It’s a sharp contrast to the charity house next door, where rival tilers Gus and the Cursios ended the day working side by side for the same cause, CSR phoned through a surprise $5,000 donation, GlobeWest threw open its showroom, and Lisa cried over a pendant light and a dining table.
