Double standards on the bailout front
Plenty of fans were fine with production lending a hand this time given the waterproofer was clearly at fault, but others pointed out nobody stepped in when Lisa and Roscoe’s bathroom fell apart a fortnight ago.
Where was production stepping in when Lisa and Rosco had issues finishing due to having to rip everything out? Nowhere to be seen.

Jolene dismissing Courtney’s tears as game playing turned the thread firmly against her for the night, with fans siding hard with Courtney over the exchange.

Tayla forgot a waterproofer entirely
Rick and Tayla’s team somehow went into ensuite week without one of the most basic trades booked, prompting disbelief from a fanbase well versed in just how central waterproofing is to this stage of the build.
The verdict
Fifteen episodes in, and dodgy trades are doing more damage to this season than the contestants themselves. The one bright spot: a genuinely AI free episode that reminded the thread the show can still be watchable when it wants to be.
