Five teams are building from scratch on Mount Eliza, on Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula, for The Block 2026: Lisa and Rosco (yellow), Adam and Jolene (red), Rick and Tayla (green), Chantel and Wyatt (blue) and Sev and Courtney (pink). The season premiered Sunday 2 August on Channel Nine and 9Now, and is now well into guest bedroom week.
Bathrooms are where Block budgets quietly disappear, on tiles, tapware and whatever stone benchtop is fashionable this season. Expect ensuites, powder rooms and at least one team’s terrazzo obsession to dominate the judges’ notes once reveals start.

Family Bathroom Week: How It Went
Family bathroom week aired as a Saturday-to-Sunday sprint, with $250,000 worth of e&s kitchen appliances and $10,000 cash from Chery on the line. Read the full reveal recap for the whole story; no numeric scores were read out on air, but the placings were clear.
- Courtney and Sev won the week, their second win in a row, taking home the full e&s and Chery prize.
- Chantel and Wyatt copped the harshest design critique of the night but took home the CommBank Better Budgeting Award.
- Adam and Jolene impressed the judges on finish and materials, undone by a missing powder room.
- Rick and Tayla won praise for standing out from the pack despite a mid-week tiler shortage.
- Lisa and Rosco had the toughest week of the season so far: a tiling disaster forced them to abandon the family bathroom entirely and salvage only the powder room.
