Well it’s after 5pm and according to the real estate advertising the auctions are happening right now but the buyers, vendors and everyone involved are sworn to secrecy so unless the prices “leak” you’ll have to wait for the Wednesday finale for The Block results.
It’s lucky that there’s another The Block South Melbourne scheduled for later this year and House Rules should start soon after Easter.
THE viewer behind My Kitchen Rules MKR biggest Twitter fan account has declared he now “can’t stand” the reality show and will be watching rival program, The Block from now on.
“It should be about the cooking, not about what one says about the other. It’s plain and simple, if you’re going to do a cooking show, talk about the cooking.”

The underdogs when they started in The Block All Stars, Phil & Amity have proven themselves to be real contenders to Win Wednesday’s finale (The Auction is actually on Tuesday). The couple were on the original series of The Block 10 years ago.
After walking through the four finished houses in person, there are a few key reasons why I think Phil and Amity’s heritage cottage will fetch the most at auction.

As the only house on The Block with 2 bathrooms, a mezzanine area their house has the most room in The Block Bondi and is the potentially the most valuable.

Another of The Block 2013 contestants for the South Melbourne caught chatting against the Mitre 10 Trade Center shed.
Apparently they were looking forward to the hot water being turned on.
Their identity remains secret for the moment but we’re sure some one will recognise them.

The Block 2013 South Melbourne is well under way and here’s a sneak peak at one of the couples captured today.
As you can see from the photo below it’s now clear there are 5 doors and presumably five couples. Perhaps this couple belong to the red door on level five.
The names of these two block contestants are unknown at this stage. Does anyone out there know more?
On Monday night this coming week, Mark (55 yo) ”Mark and Duncan”, has a major heart concern. An ambulance was called to The Block.
”I felt tight in the chest and was having trouble breathing,” – Mark
”They laid me down and Keith took my pulse and they called an ambulance.”- Mark
As The Block creates a high risk highly stressful environment Mark accepted Channel 9’s decision and that he isn’t well enough to continue his renovations as an AllStar.
Dale (Sophie & Dale) will be standing in for Mark although when the property goes for Auction it will still be a Mark & Duncan property.
