The Nine Network’s reality property development series The Block returns to screens next month but without founding judge John McGrath.
Real estate celebrity John McGrath won’t be returning to judge The Block after being a judge on the show since its inception in 2003. It’s not yet known if this departure is just for The Block All Stars 2013 or if he’ll return for the South Melbourne bock later in the year.
Darren Palmer, who has been a guest judge in two previous seasons will replace John alongside Shaynna Blaze and Neale Whitaker Palmer also placed second in Nine’s failed 2009 design series Home Made.
“I’ve been in their shoes. I’ve frantically laid floorboards, painted, plastered, built furniture, done everything you need to do to save money and be judged.”
Scott Cam will be hosting The Block All Stars radio show that will extend the TV series to Saturday mornings where Scott will interview contestants and cover the behind the scenes goss.
Scott Cam, The Block All Stars: “I’m really excited about the All Stars radio show and I’m looking forward to squeezing all the inside goss out of them.”
