The Block contestants hand over their final spaces to judges Neale, Shaynna and John McGrath. Once again, one team goes home with $20,000 slashed from their reserve price come auction day, with second and third place taking $15,000 and $10,000 off their reserves.
The Block judges change the game for three teams when they judge the first five rooms in Apartment 6. The brief is to make the rooms to work together in a cohesive fashion. The judges weren’t told which teams they were judging. The winning team scores 29 out of 30 and $20,000 off their reserve. Second place gets $15,000 off their reserve and third place will have $10,000 taken off.
The Block ensuites may be relatively small rooms, but tensions run high on room delivery day. Shaynna describes one bathroom as Awesome and Breathtaking. We see 3d tiles, His & hers showers, a ceiling tap and a wooden bath!!!
Chris gives his glass installer the wrong day for installation and when Scotty calls tools down their situation worsens, resulting in an unfinished bathroom.
The Block Glasshouse contestants score each others living and dining rooms and its a chance for some teams to get their revenge. The results of Scotty’s audit are in. When one team is asked questions regarding the cost of their main bathroom the remaining four teams aren’t happy.
Tonight The Block Glasshouse contestants deliver 5 spectacular living and dining rooms. There’s just half a point separating 1st and 2nd place and one team takes home the much needed $10,000 prize.
The Block Glasshouse Blockheads are very keen to see each other’s completed kitchens. Scotty reads out the jury comments at HQ and some couples have voted strategically to get their revenge. The $5000 jury prize is announced and its back to work on the living and dining rooms.
