There are just four houses for The Block NZ 2013 in Lake Rd Takapuna, NZ and the Open home days are rumoured to begin in October 2013. Check out the location and the site before fences were put up to shut out sticky beaks.

The couple who fell pregnant while filming the hit renovation show The Block have had their baby – and it’s understood to be a girl.

Wellington couple Tyson “Spicey Tysie” Hill and fiance Rachel Rasch had the baby a week ago.

The Block NZ is  the biggest TV show of the year. 4 couples  compete to renovate a home in Auckland, and sell it at auction for the highest price.

Each of the final four couples will receive the profits from the sale of their house on auction day and the winner will receive an additional big cash prize. Last year’s winners, Libby and Ben, pocketed more than $230,000!

The Australian series participants did OK too, with profits of $275,000, $25,000, $220,000 and $295,000.
